Child killed

LAYYAH, Sept 24: A seven-year-old child was killed and four other members of the family injured when the roof of their house caved in at the suburban area of Fatehpur on Friday night. According to reports, Liaquat Ali’s family in Chak 94-ML was buried under the debris of the roof when the iron girder broke under the weight of 100,000 bricks kept on the roof. Liaquat, his wife and their two children suffered multiple injuries while their son, Afzal, died on the spot. The injured were taken to the Nishter Hospital in precarious condition.—APP
