NIFA’s training course concludes today

PESHAWAR, Sept 22: A two-week post-graduate training course on the “Use of Nuclear and other Advanced Techniques in Food and Agriculture Research” would conclude here on Friday, says a press release issued here on Thursday. The ongoing training course which had started from September 12 would conclude at the Nuclear Institute for Food and Agriculture (NIFA), here tomorrow.

Proper utilisation of scientific knowledge in their respective departments may help achieve self-sufficiency in food, the press release added. Prof. Dr. Said Khan Khalil, Vice-Chancellor of the NWFP University of Agriculture, Peshawar, would be the chief guest at the certificate distribution ceremony.

As many as 21 participants from various research organizations and universities of the country including Azad Kash-

mir are attending the course.
