WASHINGTON, Sept 22: With the US economy still hurting from Katrina, experts said on Thursday that Hurricane Rita has the potential to deliver another powerful economic blow if it stays on course toward the Texas coast.
Rita, classified as a major storm, swirled in the Gulf of Mexico toward a region with a large share of the United States oil and gas industry and the fourth-largest US city, Houston.—AFP
