Seven elected unopposed in Dera

DERA GHAZI KHAN, Sept 21: Seven minority members have been elected unopposed on district and tehsil seats in Dera Ghazi Khan. According to reports, Om Prakash, Younis Pervaiz and Amanual alias Go Go have been elected on district seats and Saleem Alyas, Saima John from Dera Ghazi Khan tehsil, Kashif from tribal area tehsil and Dr Giyan Chand from Taunsa Sharif tehsil.

It may be mentioned that most of the members belong to the Leghari group led by former president and MNA Farooq Ahmed Khan Leghari. — Correspondent
