Accord on closer ties with Mongolia


BEIJING, Sept 21: Pakistan and Mongolia have agreed to upgrade their bilateral ties in political, economic, cultural and educational fields. An agreement to this effect was reached at a meeting held between Mongolian President Nambaryn Enkhbayar and Ambassador Salman Bashir.

It was decided to establish a regular consultation mechanism to take unanimous position on regional and international issues.

The Mongolian president stressed the need for further developing cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the economic sector.
