NAIROBI, Sept 21: Kenya’s tea prices were mixed at this week’s auction, with some grades dipping on falling quality, while others firmed on improved quality, traders said on Wednesday.
The prices of Brighter Best Pekoe Ones dipped because of lower quality, fetching $2.20-$2.91 per kg. Broken Pekoe Fannings Ones sold at $2.08-$2.45 per kg compared with the last auction’s $2.08-$2.35.—Reuters
