Blast in iron scrap kills two
MIRPUR (AJK), Sept 20: A blast in an iron scrap killed two labourers and injured three others in a steel mill on Tuesday. DSP (Headquarters) Raja Irfan Salim told APP that the explosion occurred while labourers were busy in unloading a truckload of iron scrap.
As a result, Mohammad Tufail and Mohammad Arif, both residents of Lahore, died on the spot and scrap contractor Sher Dil, Aamer Azeem and Mohammad Azam were injured.
Police and Edhi volunteers rushed to the mill and took the dead and the injured the District Hospital Mirpur, where those injured were admitted. —-APP
