Wapda grab wrestling trophy

LAHORE, Sept 18: Wapda’s grapplers faced a tough challenge from Railways before retaining the national wrestling championship title with 63 points on Sunday. Wapda claimed four gold, one silver and one bronze medals each to complete its tally, and lift the main trophy.

Railways fell only three points short securing one gold, four silver and one bronze medals to retain the runners-up spot.

55kg:Haroon bt Muhammad Riaz.

60kg:Muhammad Farooq bt Amonial by fall.

66kgs:Muhammad Suleman bt Tariq Mehmood.

74kg: Muhammad Ali (Wapda bt Aamir Yaqoob (Police).

84kg:Muhammad Shahid (Railways) bt Muhammad Usman (Wapda).

96kg: Muhammad Umar (Wapda) bt Hamid Khan (Railways).

120kg:Muhammad Bashir Bhola Bhala bt Hamid Khan.
