MITHI, Sept 18: Radio Pakistan Mithi is going to start its experimental test transmission from Monday on FM 108MHz. A press statement issued by the station director of the Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation, Mithi, said the daily transmission would be from 8am to 2pm and from 4pm to 10:15pm.
The radio station will present programmes in Urdu, Sindhi, Dhatki (the Desert Sindhi) and Marvari (Rajasthani) languages.
Following programmes have been put on the schedule: Jhangi Manjhh-Jhhangaan at 12:05 noon, Urdu programme Daman-i-Thar, songs, Otaq, Hello Mithi and Hello Karoonjhar.
Besides, relaying news bulletins, the radio would continue broadcasting cultural and literary programmes.
PLEA: Wali Mohammad Rahimoo, Awam Dost Panel’s candidate and Dr Manoj Kumar Malani, covering candidate for the post of district nazim Tharparkar, whose nomination forms were rejected by returning officers on Friday, filed appeals against rejection of forms with the district returning officer here on Sunday.
Independent candidates Dost Ali Rahimoo and Aban Rahimoo, whose forms were rejected for the post of taluka nazim Chhachhro also filed appeals with the DRO against rejection of nomination papers.
Ramzan Bajeer, covering candidate of the Khushhal Pakistan Panel candidate Allah Dino Bajeer for the post of taluka nazim Mithi filed appeal with the DRO against rejection of his nomination papers.
He also objected acceptance of nomination form of independent candidate Ranchhoredas Dhirani for taluka nazim Mithi.
