Wrestling from today

LAHORE, Sept 15: Wapda will defend its title in the 52nd national wrestling championship scheduled to start at the Railways Stadium from Friday. Secretary Pakistan Wrestling Federation (PWF) Chaudhary Muhammad Arif, said that the competitions will be held in seven weight categories which are 50 to 55, 60, 66, 74 84, 96 and 96 to 120kgs class.

Wapda will face a tough challenge from Army, Police while the other participants are Railways, Higher Education Commission, Punjab, Sindh, NWFP and Balochistan.

Last year Wapda won six gold medals out of seven.
