KARACHI, Sept 15: The Aga Khan University will hold its 10th national “Health Sciences Research” symposium at its premises from Sept 19 to 24. The symposium is aimed at creating awareness among the masses on initiatives in health sciences education and educational research and to sensitize participants to recent advances in the field of undergraduate and postgraduate medical, nursing and allied health education, Prof Jamsheer Talati, chairman, Organizing Committee of the Symposium stated this on Thursday.
Federal Education Minister Lt-Gen (retd) Javed Ashraf Qazi would be the chief guest of the inaugural session of the symposium on Sept 19.
Noted scholars, physicians, nurses and scientists from Pakistan, East Africa, Middle West, Far East, Europe and North America will speak on different topics.
The pre and post-symposium workshops would be held on Sept 19 and 22-24 respectively.
