KPT team for PPL

KARACHI, Sept 14: The Karachi Port Trust (KPT) team for participation in the second Pakistan Premier Soccer League 2005 (PPL) scheduled to be held in Lahore, Faisalabad and Rawalpindi will leave for Lahore on Thursday.

According to a press release on Wednesday, KPT will take on Wohaib Club in their opening match on Sept 17, Wapda on Sept 20; Panther Club Sept 22, Navy Sept 25 and PTCL Sept 28.

KPT team: Zulfiqar (captain-goalkeeper), Ajmal Zaman (goalkeeper), Jameel Ahmed, Akhter, Naseer, Idrees, Sajidullah, Aziz, Nawaz Rehman, Shakir Taj, Rauf Rehman, Asif Ayub, Abdul Khaliq, Fareed Majeed, Amin, Lal Bux, Ghulam Farooq, Asim Faiz, Imam Bux, Wali Muhammad, Abdullah Rahi.—PPI
