Latifabad to face Makli in final
HYDERABAD, Sept 14: Latifabad Basketball Club, Hyderabad, and Makli Club, Thatta, will meet in the final of Defence Day of Pakistan All-Sindh Inter-clubs basketball Cup defeating Mehran University Club, Jamshoro and Pak Youth Club, Karachi in the semifinals at Sindh Sports Board court on Wednesday. According to the details, Latifabad Club defeated Mehran University Club 48-24 in the first seminfinal thanks to fine performancees of Shoaib Ahmed and Dr. Khuram.
In the second semifinal, Makli Club registered a narrow 29-23 victory against Pak Youth Club. Khuda Bux, Muhammad Azeem and Sajjad Ahmed showed outstanding performances during the match.
Earlier, in the league matches, Latifabad Club defeated Khoro Club Larkana 58-38, Pak Youth Club defeated Hyderabad Club 46-18 and Makhdoom Hashmi Club Thatta defeated Hyderabad Club 12-08.—APP
