Fine hat trick by Adnan

LAHORE, Sept 13: A fine goal by international striker Allah Nawaz helped Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) draw 1-1 against Wohaib Club, Lahore in the Pakistan Premier football league-2005 at the University of Punjab ground Old Campus on Tuesday.

Hosts Wohaib Club took an early lead when Adeem Shahzad scored a field goal in the 26th minute.

But the lead was short-lived as Allah Nawaz took full advantage of a blunder committed by a defender near the goal area.

Meanwhile, a fine hat trick by Adnan Bari helped Army register a 3-1 win over PTCL at Punjab Medical College ground, Faisalabad.

The winners had taken 3-0 lead by the 53rd minute. Adnan scored in the 33rd, 35th and the 53rd minute to complete hat trick.

The PTCL struck a consolation goal through Muhammad Ijaz in injury time.

It was Army’s fourth win which raised its points tally to 11.
