KARACHI, Sept 13: The bullet-riddled body of a young man was recovered from Lyari early Tuesday morning, police said. The police helpline ‘15’ received information from residents of Juman Shah Road about the presence of a body.
Police reached the spot and shifted the body to the Civil Hospital for post-mortem examination.
The police believe the body was dumped on the spot by unknown persons. The victim had suffered two bullet wounds in the head and chest.
Following legal formalities, the body was shifted to the Edhi morgue for identification.
Meanwhile, a young man was shot dead by unknown persons in Jehanabad area on Tuesday.
Police said Mufasil, 30, had come to a factory in Jehanabad area in the limits of Pak Colony. As he was coming out of his car (ACB-952), unknown persons opened fire on him. He was rushed to Civil Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
