JCL bidding today

ISLAMABAD, Sept 13: The Privatization Commission will hold bidding for the sale of 96.34 per cent shares of Javedan Cement Limited (JCL) here on Wednesday (Sept 14) under the chairmanship of Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, Minister for Privatization and Investment.

According to a handout, a pre-bid meeting was organized on September 3 to create better understanding of the transaction and bidding process and to respond to the queries of potential buyers. The status of various relevant legal cases was also conveyed to the participants.

The Privatization Commission has also scheduled the bidding for Mustehkam Cement Limited and Bolan Textile Mills machinery on Thursday (Sept 15).
