SWABI, Sept 12: Police have arrested six Afghan refugees who entered a primary school for girls and allegedly tried to make advances on pupils. Sources in the police department told Dawn that the incident occurred some days back. The refugees forced their way into a government-run primary school in Shagaha at a time when the teacher was taking a class.

The teacher and the students locked themselves in the classroom. When the intruders tried to break the door of the classroom, the students of a nearby college came to the school.

The Afghans ran away after they saw the male students.

The incident enraged Nazim Salim Khan and Naib Nazim Shakeel Dad of the area who told the police to immediately arrest the culprits.
