ARD fields town nazim hopeful in Wazirabad
GUJRANWALA, Sept 11: The Alliance for Restoration of Democracy has nominated Advocate Zafer Gondel of PML-N for Wazirabad town nazim slot and asked him to launch his campaign with coordination of PPP activists. Reports said the nomination was made at an ARD meeting held at the residence of PML-N former federal minister Ghulam Dasatgir Khan on Sunday. The meeting was attended by PPP district chief and aspirant for district nazim slot Chaudhry Abdullah Virk, MPA Chaudhry Ijaz Saman of Wazirabad and other leaders.
Meanwhile, ruling PML-backed aspirant for district nazim slot Chaudhry Fiaz Ahmad Chattha on Sunday claimed to have won the favour of various nazims, naib-nazims and councillors belonging to PPP.
