KARACHI, Sept 11: The Sindh Chief Minister, Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim, called upon the government official to use serviceable old vehicles after necessary maintenance, instead of acquiring new ones. He said this while examining seven vehicles of the Police Department repaired at the Police workshop and brought to the CM House here on Saturday.

Dr Arbab asked that everyone should employ every possible resource to provide better services to the masses and work honestly in his respective field.

He said that the police workshop could be utilized for the maintenance and service of old vehicles.

Dr Arbab was informed that some 26 vehicles had been repaired in the police workshop, while other vehicles would be in working condition after necessary repair. About Rs100,000 to Rs300,000 will be the estimated maintenance cost on each vehicle.—APP
