Two killed

ISLAMABAD, Sept 9: Two persons, including a woman, died in separate incidents, police said here on Friday. A 23-year-old girl, Aisha, was drowned while swimming in a pool located in Super Market. Police seized the body and shifted it to the hospital for legal process.

A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a speeding vehicle at Tarnol.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Nawab. The incident took place when a passenger wagon (LHO-0798) driven by Faisal Shahzad hit him while he was crossing a road near Coca Cola factory.

As a result, Nawab died on the spot. His body was shifted to the hospital. The driver was arrested and the vehicle impounded.
