KARACHI, Sept 9: A batch of Pakistani military contingent from United Nations Mission in Congo returned home on Friday morning. Maj-Gen Tahir Mahmud Malik, Commander Karachi Logistic Area, received the troops at the Quaid-i-Azam International Airport, said an ISPR press release.
The first batch of about 200 troops of an infantry battalion has reported after completing the UN mission successfully, it said. The last batch is expected by the end of this month on completion of the relief and repartition operation in Congo, it added.—APP
