Rafique fined for verbal spat
DHAKA, Sept 8: Top Bangladeshi bowler Mohammad Rafique has been fined 75 per cent of his match-fee after a verbal duel with coach Dav Whatmore during the current tour of Sri Lanka, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) said on Thursday. Left-arm spinner Rafique had “arguments” with Whatmore over his knee injury during a practice session in Colombo, BCB spokesperson Mohsena Hassan said.—AFP
