Nowshera stun Peshawar
PESHAWAR, Sept 8: District Nowshera clinched the title after beating Peshawar 2-0 in the final of the NWFP, Mali Baba under-17 hockey hampionship played in Nowshera on Thursday.
Nowshera and Peshawar were tied goalless at half time.
It was the second half when Nowshera took the lead through centre forward Bilal Khan and Faisal made it 2-0 scoring from the penalty corner rebound.—APP
