Aussies call up paceman Clark
LONDON, Sept 5: Middlesex fast bowler Stuart Clarke has been called up to Australia’s squad for the fifth Ashes Test as cover for Glenn McGrath. The 29-year-old will join the Australian squad for practice at The Oval on Tuesday, a spokesman for Cricket Australian said on Monday.
Clark had also been called into the squad as a standby for McGrath, who is recovering from an elbow injury, before the third Test at Old Trafford.—Reuters
