KARACHI, Sept 4: The Sindh Finance Department has revised the rate of subscription to the general provident fund (G.P. fund) consequent upon the revision of basic pay scales of civil employees of the provincial government.

Deductions from the pay of employees on the basis of new rates will be made with effect from August until further orders. The minimum rates of subscription (on mean) will be three per cent for BPS-1; five per cent for BPS-2 to 11 and eight per cent for BPS-12 to 22, respectively.

There shall be no option to postpone subscription of the above fund either during leave (except extraordinary leave without pay) or during the training period. —APP
