SHEIKHUPURA, Sept 4: Noor Ahmed Sura, a prominent Muslim League activist, has announced his candidature for the Ferozewala tehsil nazim seat. Talking to reporters at his residence here, the old leaguer claimed that various MNAs, MPAs and recently-elected representatives in 21 union councils in Ferozewala tehsil have assured to support him. MNA and federal parliamentary secretary Saeed Ahmad Virk was also present on the occasion.

He urged the PML leadership to declare him its candidate for the tehsil nazim slot because he enjoyed support of legislators of the area and majority of voters.

Speaking on the occasion, MNA Saeed Virk said that Mr Sura would be the most suitable candidate for the seat of Ferozewala tehsil nazim.
