SAHIWAL, Sept 2: City police on Friday recovered the body of PML-N women wing’s Sahiwal president from the bank of Lower Bari Doab Canal near Kinaan Park.
Mrs Gulzar Qamar, who also ran for a councillor’s seat during local elections two weeks ago, went missing two days ago.
Her two sons, allegedly involved in a murder occurred some time ago, are absconding.
Police said Qamar was beheaded by unknown abductors who put her body in a sack and threw it in the canal.
