KARACHI, Aug 31: A high-level trade delegation from Korea will visit Pakistan for the 8th joint business council meeting. In a statement issued here on Wednesday, the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry said that a 30-member trade delegation of the Korean Chambers of Commerce and Industry is visiting Pakistan on the invitation of the FPCCI to hold 8th Joint Pakistan-Korea Business Council meeting here on September 26.
The delegation, which will be visiting Pakistan from September 25 to 27, will be led by Lee Ji Song, president and chief executive officer of Hyundai Engineering and Construction Company.
The JBC will focus on present trade and economic relations between Pakistan and Korea. It will discuss proposals and suggestions for the expansion of bilateral trade, investment and joint venture opportunities in Pakistan, non-tariff barriers, etc.
The Korean delegates are also interested in investment and joint ventures with Pakistani companies.—APP
