VCOAS visits forward posts in N. Areas
RAWALPINDI, Aug 30: Vice Chief of the Army Staff Gen Ahsan Saleem Hyat on Tuesday visited the forward posts in Northern Areas and met officers and jawans.
He was given detailed briefing by Maj-Gen Mohsin Kamal, Force Commander, Northern Areas, on operational, training and administrative matters at the FCNA headquarters.
Gen Hyat was also briefed by respective brigade and unit commanders in the forward areas.
The vice chief of army staff expressed satisfaction over the state of operational readiness of troops deployed in the forward areas and appreciated their high morale. He was accompanied by Corps Commander of 10-Corps, Rawalpindi, Lt-Gen Sallahuddin. —APP
