KARACHI, Aug 29: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has recommended development projects worth Rs449.18 million for the Federal Urdu University for Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST).

This was announced by a spokesman for FUUAST in a statement on Monday.

These projects include construction of new teaching and administration block, setting up of a software house, experimental court room for the law department of the institution.

The amount also includes PhD education expenses for 27 teachers abroad.

Meanwhile, the FUUAST is also planning the departments of business administration, computer science, physics and law, it was further pointed out.
