HYDERABAD: PPP leaders booked

HYDERABAD, Aug 29: Police have lodged an attempted murder case against former Awam Dost Panel nazim, UC Zair Peer, Ali Mohammad Shah, a close confidante of PP Parliamentarian chief, Makhdoom Amin Fahim, Shah’s brother Ahsan Ali Shah and others on the complaint of a local PML-F leader in the wake of an unpleasant incident at polling station Ghulam Mohammad Bagrani on August 25.

It was the second case against Ali Mohammad Shah.

He was earlier booked at Hala police station for his alleged violation of code of conduct.

Former district nazim Makhdoom Rafiquzzaman and others were co-accused in the case.

The New Saeedabad police booked him under section 324 Qisas diyat, 147, 148, 149, 114 of PPC on the complaint of Ghulam Ali Dal, a local leader of PML-F following disturbances at polling station Ghulam Mohammad Bagrani.

According to Shah, other accused included, Ahsan Ali Shah, Rajab Ali Zardari, Pathan Saand, Shamsher Saand, Shah Nawaz Domki.
