Train passenger found injured

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Aug 27: Police have found a seriously injured passenger on railway track on Saturday. Officials of the Mehrabpur railway police identified him as Ashfaq Waraich.

A ticket recovered from his pocket indicated that Mr Waraich was travelling from Karachi to Gujrat.

The injured was admitted to a Nawabshah hospital.

KILLED: A man was killed in Qabool Kalhoro village, Bhirya taluka, when he offered resistance to foil theft bid on Friday night. Three unidentified thieves entered the house of Razzaq Kalhoro in the village on which he offered resistance.

The thieves opened fire with gun as a result Razzaq died instantly. The body was brought to taluka hospital Bhirya and was handed over to relatives after post-mortem.

The Bhirya police told that no FIR was lodged till the filing of this report as relatives of the deceased had arranged sniffing dogs and police had also gone there.
