NAWABSHAH: Case against PPP workers

NAWABSHAH, Aug 27: Nawabshah police have booked seven supporters of PPP-backed Awam Dost Panel for attacking an ASI during polls at UC-2. ASI Iqbal Rind on behalf of state lodged an FIR under section 171J, 353, 504 and 147 at taluka police station that Abdul Ghafoor Bhangwar, Abdul Majeed, Anwar Hussain, Ghulam Sarwar, Gul Hassan and two unknown people came to polling station government primary school Faiz Mohammad Bhangwar and attacked him and tore uniform and escaped.

MQM: Activists of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement distributed sweets and took out processions here on Saturday.

Hundreds of supporters of the Haq Parast Group (HPG) took out procession celebrating victory of five nazim and naib nazim candidates in Nawabshah city and distributed sweets.

Different processions emerged from UC-3, 4, 5, 7 and UC-8 and the supporters danced and celebrated the victory.
