KARACHI, Aug 26: Condemning manipulation of results in UC-7, Gulshan Town, a leader of the Pakistan People’s Party, Engr Iftikhar Qazi, has demanded of the Election Commission to declare the results null and void.
In a statement issued to the press here on Friday, Engr Qazi, who is also member Karachi Committee of the PPP, he said Mr Noor Bux was declared winner by the presiding officer after the first phase of voting on Aug 18, and the result was also released to the press but after three days, he was declared loser which is astonishing. Mr Qazi said this injustice would be challenged in the election tribunal.
