KARACHI, Aug 26: The Karachi Bar Association (KBA) has announced a sit-in on the main M.A. Jinnah Road on Monday following the arrest of two member advocates from their office on Friday.
A statement issued by KBA President Mehmood-ul-Hasan and Khalid Mumtaz, General Secretary KBA said that the police picked up Pir Riaz Shah advocate and Muhammad Rafique. Pir Riaz was later set free on the intervention by senior lawyers, the KBA office bearers said. They termed the action as illegal.—APP
