FAISALABAD, Aug 24: Patients are facing problems as the DHQ Hospital staff has been deputed for polling duty. A round of the local DHQ Hospital here on Wednesday revealed that the entire staff, including medical officers, attendants, surgeons, registrars, specialists and paramedical staff have been deputed in polling stations situated in different parts of the district.
Patients, especially aged people, coming from villages have to face problems due to non-availability of the staff.
Meanwhile, relatives of the injured people and serious patients staged a demonstration outside the emergency ward and protested against the administration for deputing medical staff for the polling duty.
