LAHORE, Aug 23: South African Academy team will have the services of medium-pacer Mario Olivier against the Pakistan Academy team in the three One-day series as a two match ban imposed on him has been lifted.
The series is starting on Wednesday with the first match being held at the Bagh-i-Jinnah ground.
Olivier was banned by the match-referee Khateeb Rizwan in the second Four-day match between the two teams held at the Qadhafi Stadium and ended on Sunday. He was suspended for allegedly using foul language against a Pakistani batsman Khalid Latif on the final day.
The South African management had appealed to the PCB chairman Shaharyar M Khan, who on technical grounds, lifted the ban.
The non-availability of Olivier was a major loss for the visitors as their key batsman J P Duminy was also on the injury list missing the first two matches.
