GUJRANWALA, Aug 23: As many as 21 people, including a defeated UC nazim candidate and his supporters, were booked here on Tuesday for allegedly firing at a polling station.

Reports said Ashraf Minhas, brother of Kamoki UC-157 nazim Liaquat Minhas, got registered a case against Chaudhry Manzoor Ahmad and his supporters that they had allegedly fired at a polling station on the polling day and created harassment.

However, the police had not arrested them till the filing of this report on Tuesday evening.

POPPY SEIZED: A huge quantity of poppy was seized by police during a raid in Kamoki here on Tuesday.
