Four Bidders annex title
KARACHI, Aug 22: Four Bidders Club displayed tactical play in annexing the weekly Swiss league bridge championship organized by Karachi Bridge Association on Sunday. The Club accumulated 92 Victory Points (VPs) to lead the field in the 14-team competition.
Candyland with their regular three pairs of Muhammed Ismail-Mubashir Puri, Hamid Mohiuddin-Ziaullah Baig and Khalid Mohiuddin-Hasan Askari scored 90 VPs for the second spot. Four Bidders finished third.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Bridge University is launching on Aug 27 a two-day Data Steel individual bridge championship at Aslam Memorial Hall on the eve of its first anniversary.—APP
