BANGALORE, Aug 19: Four navy personnel were feared dead after their helicopter crashed in the jungles of Karnataka on Friday, police said. Belgaum district police superintendent Hemant Nimbalkar said rescuers were yet to reach the spot due to heavy rains.

“There were six personnel in the helicopter. As per our reports two have survived but there is no confirmation. We are still trying to reach the spot,” he told AFP. The helicopter took off from Goa and was on its way to Andhra Pradesh when it crashed, he said.—AFP
