LAHORE, Aug 19: Army’s Nishat won the Independence Day eight-kilometre mini-marathon for men on Friday. He covered the distance in 25 minutes and 22 seconds to win first prize of Rs.50,000. The race started from Defence stadium and terminated at Phase-5. Muhammad Aslam, also of Army, finished in second and was richer by Rs 25,000.—APP
