PESHAWAR, Aug 18: A senior Taliban official is being interrogated after being arrested in the NWFP, a security official and the detained man’s son said Thursday. Maulvi Muhammad Yasir, head of the ousted Afghan militia’s Culture and Information Council, was picked up by security agencies near Nowshera town, 35km east of Peshawar, on August 11, the official said.—AFP
