KARACHI, Aug 17: Spinners Mohammad Zohaib and Junaid Ilyas shared eight wickets between them to spin Zone-II Whites to an impressive eight-wicket victory over Zone-I Whites in the KCCA Under-17 Inter-zonal cricket championship at TMC Ground on Tuesday.
Left-armer Zohaib grabbed four for 35 and off-spinner Junaid four for 41 as Zone-I Whites were dismissed for 131 in the 45th over.
Zone-II Whites romped home for the loss of two wickets in the 23rd over with Nazish Ghous hitting 48.
In the other match at Pak Star Ground, Zone-IV Blues beat Zone-III Blues by six wickets with Mudassar Manzoor taking four for 25.
