AFP names squad

ISLAMABAD, Aug 17: The Athletics Federation of Pakistan on Wednesday announced a nine-member squad which will take part in the 16th Asian Championships in Incheon City, Korea next month.

The team comprises three female and four male athletes and two coaches who will be accompanying them. The championship runs from Sept 1 to 4.

Squad: Muhammad Imran (Army-100m/200m), Irshad Fazal (Wapda- 800m), Muhammad Shah (Wapda-110m hurdles), Waseem Khan (Army-long jump/triple jump), Noshee Parveen (Pak Steel-100m hurdles), Razia Sultana (Wapda-hammer throw), Parveen Akhtar (Wapda-javelin throw). Coaches: Muhammad Yousaf Chaudhry, Muhammad Siddiq.
