Lasbela varsity classes from Oct 31

QUETTA, Aug 17: Balochistan Governor Owais Ahmed Ghani said on Tuesday that the Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences would play a vital role in the progress of agriculture, water and sea resources.

Presiding over the first meeting of the university’s senate in Uthal, the governor said the unversity would hold classes from Oct 31.

He said the federal government had provided the buildings of the Bolan Textile Mills for the University of Information and Technology and the Sardar Bahadur Khan Sanatorium for the Women’s University in Quetta and Uthal Textile Mills for the Lasbela University.

The governor inaugurated the administration block of the university.
