KARACHI: Class IX (Gen) results

KARACHI, Aug 17: The Board of Secondary Education, Karachi, on Wednesday declared the results of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) General group Part-I (Class IX) Annual Examinations 2005.

As many as 19,877 candidates, including 13,122 girls, cleared all five papers. The overall percentage of those clearing all papers remained 53.14.

According to a BSE notification, 37,406 regular and private candidates, including 24,724 girls, appeared in the exams.

The breakdown of candidates having cleared different numbers of papers is as follows: five papers 19,877 (3,421 private), four papers 8,258 (1,701), three papers 4,480 (857), two papers 2,525 (545) and one paper 1,505 (352).
