Reopening of library sought

MARDAN, Aug 16: Members of the Public Library Town Hall have demanded reopening of the library and repair of the building, which has been closed since an attack by a mob two months ago.

The library was built in 1986 by the then NWFP Governor Gen Fazal Haq and was the only public library in the district, librarian Anwar Jalal said.

He said a procession was taken out in protest against the killing of a boy who had died in a dispute between two persons.
