By Our Sports Reporter

KARACHI: Pakistan hockey team’s dismal form continued when it finished last in the four-nation tournament in Hamburg which ended on Sunday, according to message received here.

Netherlands won the tournament securing seven points, two wins and a draw. Australia finished in second place with hosts Germany taking the third spot. Pakistan lost to Germany 1-3 in the opener, went down 5-6 against Netherlands and ended winless losing 3-4 to Australia. Pakistan’s defensive shortcomings were fully exploited by their rivals as they conceded 13 goals, the highest in the competition in three outings.
