SOCCER: Panther Club face PWD today

LAHORE, Aug 11: Faisalabad’s Panther Football Club will open their campaign in second Pakistan Premier League on when they will take on Pakistan Public Works Department (PWD) at City District Government Karachi (CDGK) Stadium.

It will be second home encounter for PWD. Their first home match against Lahore’s Wohaib Club ended in 2-1 victory.

Panther will host their eleven home encounters at Govt. Muslim College Ground, 38 kilometres from Faisalabad.

Panther FC squad: Ghulam Murtaza (Skipper), Asif Hussain Shah, Muhammad Asif, Abdul Abbas, Muhammad Saleem, Samar Isahaq, Noor Nabi Shah, Zahid Iqbal, Tahir Hussain, Muhammad Amin, Ali Sher, Tahir Nawaz, Muhammad Wasim, Qurban Ali, Asif Nawaz, Abdul Jabbar, Muhammad Farooq, Muhammad Afzal.

Officials: Muhammad Ashraf Khan (Manager) and Muhammad Aslam (Coach).
