Two killed in road accident

QUETTA, Aug 11: Two persons were killed when their motorcycle collided with a speeding truck near Kolpur area at the Quetta-Sibi national highway on Thursday. According to police, a convoy of 10 motorcyclists was on its way to Quetta from Jacobabad for taking part in the celebration of Independent Day on Aug 14.

When they reached near Kolpur, a motorcycle collided with a truck coming in the opposite direction.

The motorcyclist and pillion riders died on the spot, were identified as Mohammad Mureed and Seed Hasan. The truck driver was arrested.—Staff Correspondent
